What kind of postage?

I am sending a package to my friend, it will be sent in a package like this http://www.google.com/imgres?q=envelope+packaging&... and it weighs 2.7 oz. It will be sent from the US to the UK. What kinds of postage will i need to put on there, and i know i cannot use the forever stamps

    You will probably have to take it to the Post Office to mail. All international shipments need a customs form filled out and attached to the package. They will weigh it and apply the appropriate postage.

    Take it to the nearest post office and let them stick adequate postage on.
