I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Father. If I were you, I would pray for his soul and ask God to help you with your grief. From time to time, give yourself some quiet, peaceful time alone and really listen and open your mind. You will probably feel like your father is reaching out to you and guiding you in life. Maybe people who have passed away can comfort us from beyond or maybe if we are quiet enough we start to remember more about them and the advice they gave us. Either way, I think you may find some comfort in reflecting on the positives of his efforts to reach out to you when he called you by phone. Talk to your family and trusted friends about your feelings for your father. Maybe the people who knew him well can tell you more about him and his feelings for you.
