Despite all the hoo ha, you can only use four gigs RAM, read on, http://www.filesonic.com/file/2271117374I dont know why people are saying getting more than 4gb is good. If any one can name me a game which will take your total ram use above about 3gb i will eat my computer.
Even Crysis + a dvd + the internet running doesnt take my PCs ram usage above 3gb. (try running games and pressing ctrl alt del and going to the performance tab. See how much ram is actually being used by games, you will be surprised)
4gb is a good amount as it is more than you need but ram comes in 1gb or 2gb sticks and most computers have 2 or 4 ram slots so it adds up nicely.
Also look very carefully at what graphics card you are buying, about 80% of a games performance is dependant on the graphics card in my opinion.

Shut the computer off / remove the newly installed ram / replace the ram with the original ram.
start up.
Go to your Computer manufacturer and inquire what is the maximum preferred.GB Ram allowed.
Did you only replace 1 stick or both?
They prefer that you replace both sticks, with the same value
Stick 1 - 1GB / 2GB
stick 2 - 1 Gb / 2Gb

12 Gigs RAM is overkill.
But, regardless, you didn't mention how much RAM is functioning, so,
Remove the RAM sticks and re-insert them, you may have a bad seating.
Be sure they are properly inserted, they should 'snap' into place.
If you are SURE that your motherboard can handle 12 Gigs, fine.
If not, ya wasted yer moola.

The beeps are an blunders code, generally if your equipment boots properly you may get one single short beep, something different than that's an blunders. i might advise going to the Fujitsu homepage and notice in the event that they have any boot sound blunders codes, make an assertion of the style of beeps and their length ie short, long etc. you're able to be waiting to discover the blunders linked with the beeps.

if you notice that there is no performance issues with the RAM then open up your computer and disconnect the system internal speaker, it will be connected to an audio header on your motherboard.

did you knocking something out installing it? Maybe something like a wire is touching a fan.
