New Friend Treats Me Like a Little Sister?
I'm a high school freshman at a new school, and made a new friend through a sport. She helped me quite a bit, as she was obviously much farther ahead of me. We know each other pretty well now, and are playing another sport together. She's one of my favorite people, but has a tendency, but as a tendency to act like I'm a small child. Is this healthy?

I think it's fine as long as it doesn't go too far. It's nice sometimes to be able to get advice from people with more experience. But at the same time it's not fun feeling like a child. Make sure she knows you want to be friends but u don't want to be treated like a kid. Also make sure that being treated like a little sis isn't wearing down your self-esteem. If it starts to wear you down back up a bit and double check to be sure it is a healthy relationship. Good luck :)
