Looking for a specific auto repair tool.?
Not exactly sure what the tool I am looking for is, but I was told it might have been used on bondo.
Its a bar, about an a foot long, a cm thick and has maybe 100 sharp blades coming off of it at a 45 degree angle or so.
The blades area also not flat on the sharp end but curve.
Any help would be great!
sorry 1 Ft x 1 in
and very thin in middle, maybe center 1 cm, and the blades arent very long.

Now that all the other people have gave you the slang terms for it, its time for the correct name of the tool in question
It's a rasp. Not a file, not a cheese grater.. Its a body rasp

That tool is called a cheese grater. Really it is. It is named appropriately after the kitchen utensil due to its striking resemblence in design and functionality. Any auto body supply store has them in stock and they are inexpensive to purchase.

The correct name is a body file. You can get one at most any car parts store.
