Why does the third drawer down in the kitchen always get so full of $hit?

Cause everyone expects it to be, it's almost an unwritten rule; First drawer is silverware and other little utensils, next one is ladles, spatulas, knives an such, then the third drawer is ****, just random crap, like tape, and a screw driver, batteries, and a bill from some company, an assortment of pens and pencils (only half of which work).

OMG - I thought this only happened at my house! The first has cutlery, the second the sharp knives potato peeler etc - the third and fourth are full of utter crap!!! I think it is because I am too lazy to find a home for the little weird things that I can't throw in the bin but I don't actually have anywhere else to put!!!

You've packed too much $hit in the 2nd drawer and all that $hit has fallen behind into the 3rd drawer.

Pens, tape, string, scissors, everything that doesn't have a place to go, goes in the third drawer

LOL So true. We just moved house and I was so embarrassed because I forgot to tidy it up before the packers came in.

because thats where you throw random $hit when you dont know where else to put it
