My ortho never gave me elastics?

I got my braces on Tuesday and I was waiting for her to give me elastics but she never did; she did say I needed them, though. Why didn't she give them to me? Was it just too soon or what?

    You normally don't get elastics on your braces until the end of treatment. They will usually straight out the crooked teeth, and then fix the bite problems, because if you do it the other way around, then the crooked teeth will just mess up your bite again. She has not forgotten about the bands, so just wait until she give them to you.

    Call the place, and tell them that you didn't receive any elastics.
