my dog, biggins, is a mini schnauzer with the most horrible breath imaginable. i give him special treats and bones designed to scrape off plague and bacteria, which helped a bit for a while. i also put a liquid breath freshener (for dogs) into his drinking water, which doesn't really help. the freshener enhances the stink and adds a strange mint smell to it. his teeth are in perfect condition, so i'm thinking maybe his food has something to do with it. i feed him beneful dry food (and one wet food can of beneful once a week) and his breath just smells so horrible, especially after he eats.

so, what should i do?! i've been considering getting him doggy tooth paste and a little finger brush (he is very good with people touching his mouth/teeth, so it would be easy) but i'm just not sure because i don't know if it really makes a difference.

any suggestions? i mean it doesn't seem like he has any kind of infection to cause this, he is in no pain. so i'm pretty lost!

I need make up for prom and I'm completely stuck on what to get. I have light acne scars and a little bit of acne, so I do need good coverage but nothing that will make me look orange. I don't want anything liquid. I was looking into Smashbox originally, but then I turned to Mac because they're cheaper. But when I noticed Mac doesn't list their ingredients, I became hesitant. I was going to choose them, too, but I can't see what's in their products.. I'm really caught, I don't know what to do. I need suggestions, at this point anything.

I need make up for prom, and originally I was going to buy a loose powder from Urban Decay (love them!) but I read the ingredients and immediately turned to Smashbox's HALO Hydrating Perfecting Powder & Brush. They're paraben-free, which I like, but I've never used anything from them so I'm skeptical about buying. I'm now debating about getting MAC's Magically Cool Liquid Powder instead because it is cheaper and I've heard they're a better brand. I'm not sure, though, because I've never personally used either. I don't want to waste my money on this, I need the make up for my upcoming prom. :\ Help please?

My dress is kind of a sapphire color leaning towards navy blue, and I was going to match my braces with the color but now I'm thinking I should just get clear colored braces. Any advice? What are clear braces like? Do you think I should get them, because what if the navy blue doesn't match my dress?

Basically, I'm a 7.5 in shoes, but I usually buy an 8. I bought an 8 in my last pair, but they're too big. So I'm thinking about buying 7's next time, which was my original plan. They recommend if you're a half size, go up. So I'm not sure.

I know it's in February, but I want an exact date please.

My mom has 7 or 8 cats- I don't even know anymore. I told her we can only keep one; the one we paid for, which is also the only one that is domesticated. She won't listen and she keeps throwing hissy-fits because everyone and I keep telling her the house smells like cat poo, piss, and just overall cats. It's absolutely disgusting. She doesn't even care; my mother doesn't view me as her child anymore, she views the cats as her children. She feeds them, talks to them, sleeps with them in bed, cuddles them, etc. She only screams at me and the rest of the family.

I can't bring anyone over to my house anymore because the smell of the animals is so utterly repulsive at this point. We've had all these animals for so long (3 years), and they've had babies. I convinced her to get rid of the babies but she just won't budge on all these cats.

It's driving me nuts. No one will come near our house, let alone come inside. They just think we're all crazy cat hoarders.

What makes it even worse is, both my mother and I are allergic to cats (not severely, but it is annoying. Very sneezey..)

So, if I called animal control, do you think they could take them away? What can I do? She just won't give them up, but everyone (including the rest of our household) is fed up.

By the way, I have tried to get her to give them to no-kill shelters but even then she refused. She's very unreasonable.

okay, so my grade in history is 75. my term project is worth 25% of my grade and i got an 85 on it. what would my 75 turn into? or atleast tell me how to do the math.

I started my period when I was 11 years old and I no longer get it (I'm 15), I have a gyno appt. Monday. I really don't know what's wrong and the gyno said she was just going to put me on birth control to "kick start" my period back up, but to be honest I really am unsure about this. I have some questions:

1. How would it make my period start back up?

2. Couldn't it make me gain weight?

3. Couldn't it also affect my skin?

4. I occasionally smoke, and I know that raises health risks, especially with birth control. So... Yeah. I mean this isn't a question but I'm bringing it up because I feel it's important.

5. What are some good birth controls for girls my age?

I got my braces on Tuesday and I was waiting for her to give me elastics but she never did; she did say I needed them, though. Why didn't she give them to me? Was it just too soon or what?

I just got braces on Tuesday and on the 21st of February I'm getting my one and only wisdom tooth removed. I was curious if my teeth would shift to fill in the place of where the wisdom tooth was, or no. I haven't had any teeth pulled yet for my braces but I might have to soon, we aren't sure.

I'm very curious as to what they look like. I've had mine in for a week now. I'm getting braces tomorrow, finally.

I wanted to know what color I should get for my braces. If I can't choose a color, I'm just going to get clear. Suggestions? I don't really want anything that would look bad like yellow, and I need something that would generally compliment everything.

The thing is, it's a two-part essay. It's got two questions, and I already used this quote for the first question. I need it for the second one, though, and I was wondering if that was okay. If it isn't, I'll just desperately search for a new one. .__.

Whenever I talk or eat, it feels like I have no teeth and I'm just chewing with my gums. It feels weird and kind of hurts. I know my teeth are there but my spacers are just so uncomfortable. I keep picking at them, I know I'm not supposed to. My gums were swollen at first, so I took ibuprofen.

My question(s) is, is this normal? Why doe it feel like this?
