Mac vs. Smashbox? Help me?

I use to use MAC studio Fix foundation. It gave great coverage but it felt too thick on my skin. I could feel that I was wearing makeup. Also, their foundation comes out looking orange. This happened to my friends too. I have acne prone skin and it broke me out a lot. At first I thought it could be anything so I did a couple of tests and it came out to be the foundation.

The Studio Fix includes:

I switched over to Smashbox 2 months ago and so far I have no problem with it. It gives the same amount of coverage, hydrating, no parabens, and lasts at least 12 hours! (Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear $42) I recommend you get a sample from MAC and one from Sephora, and see which one you like best before purchasing the full product.

5 words - Smashbox Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder - $74.00 It has gold in it, so you know it's good! I have noticed in the 2 months I have been using it, it actually has improved the look and feel of my skin, even when I'm wearing no makeup. It's nice and light, and has surprisingly great coverage for a powder, but it also diffuses light, so if you have fine lines or blemishes they tend to disappear! I am biased, because I am allergic to MAC red pigments. It's the only makeup that I have ever been allergic to, and to me that says a lot.

Mac to me is the best :) Their makeup stays on longer and doesn't run.
