I need a horrible excuse to call off work. help please?

I work at mcdonalds... I plan to quit within the next month or 2. They hold me to a higher standard, but my friend called off on new years and didn't even get written up. I haven't called off since I started back. So I figured I'd take a saturday off.

Also I walk 30mins to work... but my roomate works there too and he is a crew leader. If anybody f-2tha-ucks this up it will be him. thank you

Update:

Michail comming on my question tlking sh1t. You don't know me. and you don;t know the bs I have been through working in this hellhole. I've worked here since I was 16... 21 now. I haven't got a single raise and I close every night. Despite that fact I rarely get a full 40 a week because managers cut hours. NO ONE deserves to work there. NO ONE should have to work there. It's nothing more then being a slave. You get enough money to pay for rent, utilities, and food. Maybe slave is a little harsh. I'm an indentured servant. When you've walked in my shoes then you can talk sh1t. I have been nothing but one of the best workers they have and they have treated my like sh1t. Why wasn't I promoted because I can make sandwiches fast.

Say that your family needs help. Then go out somewhere for a day :)

Thank you for quitting so someone who actually DESERVES the job and is willing to work for it can be hired in your place.

You have valid reasons for wanting to quit, but I think it's pathetic that you're trying to skip work. If you want to quit, by all means quit. But don't try to fool your employers.
