When I try to join the companions I'll talk to the leader and hell talk to me but no quest? I wait a day then I go back an he talks to me again. He tells he to talk to what's his face but he keeps on saying talk to the leader and he's busy freaking sitting -.- help!!

Had the same problem. I don't remember the leader's name but if you go down the stairs and into the door you will find him.
