Would anyone else feel "violated" in any way if someone kept pointing a laser pointer through your window at h?
They did it off & on for about an hour last night. I feel like it is an invasion of my space. Am I wrong?? I know where it was coming from and these neighbors are not the nicest people. The step dad has cussed my kids before because stray cats (that he thought were ours) got in his trash. Should I do anything about this or just ignore it???
I was formerly a victim of domestic violence, so MY safe boundaries are VERY important to me. I don't feel like I should have to hide under a blanket in MY OWN SPACE in order to feel safe, and like Im not being watched.....I live in Missouri. Was not sure if there are any ordinances in my area concerning this type of thing.
Just called and spoke with a Sheriff's Deputy who said they can't really do anything.......figures. I am required to feel threatened in my own walls. I don't feel that is fair. I was alone last night, but my 3 girls have to live here too, and it worries me that they will be here alone for several hours each day before I get home from work. Just very frustrated at the moment. Thank you to those of you who understand!!!

I would be furious, and call 911 and have reported the violation to the police. That is cruel, and they sounds like crazies next door. Hope you could move away!

Directing a laser pointer into another person's house is illegal in my state. My guess it is in your state too. You should be able to report them to the police.

Maybe you should go knock on their door and ask them not to do it again. If they do it again call the police.
