In 200 years, would African Americans be classified as Germanic or Anglos?
Are African Americans (blacks) any less Anglo, or Germanic than Mexicans are "Latino"?
If we classified people by what language they speak, would that be accurate to call African Americans "Anglos"?
If it's not fair to classify English speaking Americans as "Anglos", why should we call Latin Americans, such as Mexicans, Costa Ricans, Brazilians "Latino"? Or why should we call Arabic speaking people "Arab"? What separates a Jordanian from an Iraqi or Iranian? What makes Turks and Kurds non-Arab?
What is Anglo culture other than speaking English, drinking beer, watching sports and being Christian?
Bangla, so are all Arabic speakers from Syria to Pakistan one race? Or are there Arabs who do not speak Arabic, who would they be?
Are Gypsies Aryans?

Latino refers to Latin culture, not ethnicity. Anglo refers to ethnicity, therefore African Americans can't be considered Anglo.

Ok First Pakistan, Turkey and the Kurds are not Arabs and they don't speak Arabic.
Plus not all Arabs share the same culture
We define them in categories, like these:
Levant: Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, and part of Iraq
Gulf Arabs: KSA, Bahrain, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, Emirates, and the other part of Iraq
Egyptians: Egypt
Black Arabs: Sudan and Somalia
North Africans: Libya, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia
Now, about USA, people came from everywhere, and 200 years is nothing compared to what other groups shared together

Hmm, that's at lot to process at once..
Think the term Anglo is referring to ancestry. Same with Latino. I think that many of these groups of Pele have chosen to be refereed to as such. For example African American...i agree with you though that where a person lives should be their Identity, I am of Irish ancestry but never call myself irish American (ok, maybe on St. Patrick's Day)...
In reference to actual skin color...I saw a show on The History Channel about people migrating out of Africa to Europe and they said it takes 10,000 years for a non-interbreeding (based on climate) group of people to change from black to white.
Hopefully in 200 years people will be more enlightened and judge others on their worth not their label.

Arabs are Semitic in race. Iranians are not Arabs, nor Semitic. Iranians are Aryan. Aryans are European, originally. Kurds are Aryans too. Kurds, Iranians, Armenians, Afghans, North Indians are genetically related ethnic groups. They are all Indo-Europeans/Aryans. Therefore, they don't have any relationship genetically or ethnically or linguistically or culturally. Most Iranians speak Farsi/Persian which is an Indo-European language. Most Iranians are Shi'a. But most Arabs speak Arabic (with many dialects) which is an Afro-Asiatic/Semitic language. And most Arabs are Sunni and Wahabi Muslims. So, culturally and religiously they are different.

Turks, Turkmens, Azeri, Kazakh, Uzbek etc. are Turkic people ethnically and linguistically. Thats why they are not related with Arabs, nor Iranians.
