Will Ron Paul finally drop out and drop into obscurity now that the people of South Carolina hand him defeat?
His racism, antisemitism, drug legalization push, Bush/Cheney conpiracies about 9/11 and general nuttiness appears to have done him in.

He is a horrible, angry and disgusting human being. I cannot stand Paul.
He makes no sense on national defense, international affairs, business, drug legalization, 9/11 conspiracies and on and on and on.
What I really cannot stand is he allies himself up there with Republicans and tries to say he is one. He truly is a despicable, racist dolt.
CNN and Obama would LOVE Paul to be the nominee. Obama could beat Paul easy. He would run on the "I'm at least not that nutbird Paul" platform.

Ron Paul is on a mission to change things within the Country. He has a very committed base of supporters and can raise a lot of money. He doesn't sugar coat or hide his positions, even if others may disagree. Nor does he change position based on how the winds blow.
He doesn't expect to be nominated, but he is grooming his son to carry on the torch. That is long term thinking and he wants to make an impact on the Convention.
It is sort of refreshing to hear a candidate state that something cannot be done since it is not allowed by the Constitution. Whether you agree or not, it allows for a discussion on the topic.
And yes, I think some of his ideas are nuttier then a fruit cake, but at least you know where he stands, and he isn't going to change his mind.
South Carolina Republicans are extremely conservative. Not exactly a Ron Paul base.

Ron Paul came in second in New Hampshire and he has more delegates than anyone except Mitt.
And Mitt is falling fast.
