what is a midland accent? (americans)?
I just took this accent quiz and it said i have a midland accent.(basically an accent in between a northern and southern accent) It said pennsylvania, southern iowa, and a few other states have the mid land accent. (I live in Pa) What does the midland accent sound to someone with a different accent?

A midland accent isn't very different from Standard American, although there are just slight differences you only really notice if people point them out.
