Should I Go, can't decide, help?

the high school dance is in 2 weeks and a bit i never went to the middle school dances so i'm not sure if i should go to this one. my bestfriend is like begging me to go and i told her i would think about it but i just cant decide.

The good: I could have fun, i'm no longer chubby so dresses dont look bad on me and i would have the element of surprise since they dont know what i look like in a dress and i'll get to go dress shopping with my bff.

The bad:all the other girls wear make up and they'll look more mature than me and i have a baby face, its a school dance, usually school events are lame. I dont like like anyone in my grade they are generally nice to me but like i dont need to go to impress anyone and overall i just dont feel like going to some dance, i just dont want to dress up for a couple of hours.

I dont want to seem, like i hate everything or that i'm ungrateful i am not but seriously i just dont feel like going and at the same time my friend really is begging me to go so please seriously share some insight and ya help me:) thank you

    If you don't want to go, don't go.

    Of course, if you want to be a good friend, go.

    It all comes down to you hierarchy of importance. Who is more important to you? Your best friend or yourself?

    just dont go....... you will soon find out who your true friends are and having people hate you over a stupid dance means there not your true friends. Plus I dont mean to be a judge but in todays world dancesseem more like they are getting past everyone and they all about sex and dancing and people wanna get naked and shet cause of the music talks about sucking cocks and shet!

    definitley go, it's making memories with your best friend. And you should put on some makeup, do your hair, wear a pretty dress, anything to make you feel stunning and then wow them all.
