I don't think this is true. Obama is an imperfect President; they all are, but what you're claiming about his being "barely qualified" is just rightwing BS.

I have to admit, of course, that Obama is not the great liberal champion that many of his supporters hoped he was back in 2008.

I have to admit that Obama's 2008 campaign was heavily dependent on campaign donations from rich Wall Street investment bankers, and tjat his economic policy following his election sometimes tilted in their direction.

However, the man is extremely intelligent and has done some things in the White House very well.

It's just not true that it has always been "blatantly obvious" to "intelligent people" that Obama is unqualified. This wasn't obvious to intelligent people back in 2008, and it's not obvious to all of them now.

You can love or hate Obama's politics; you can applaud his record or attack it, but it's simply not accurate to say that he's "barely qualified to tie his own shoes."

Not unless you're some kind of obsessive white racist, that is, and you have always thought him to be unqualified based on his color.

But if that's the way you think - the problem is with YOU, and not with Obama.

Again, this is not to endorse or attack Obama's record in office.

You can be a perfectly rational American with no special racial hang-ups, and you can dislike many things Obama has done. You can also be a rational and intelligent American and applaud many of the things he's done. But declaring him "obviously" unqualified only proves that YOU are obviously unqualified to think and write seriously about politics.

They do. They just also see through the charade that is the Republican Party. When comparing the two, intelligent people realized that Obama was the better option for president.

Not qualified? He served over half a term as a US senator!
