If i took plants, animals and micro organisms to space what will i need to keep them alive?

Also what would i need to provide for them, to keep them alive

    Sunlight (or something that would provide the necessary energy), lots of good dirt, carbon dioxide, oxygen, the right kind of food, plenty of water, and a temperature that wasn't too hot or too cold. When you say "to space" I assume you mean inside of a "spaceship," since everything would die if it was just floating in space.
