Most QB's don't make it to a single Super Bowl let alone two. At this point with his performance throughout the playoffs, it is hard to argue that he is not elite. If he can win his second Super Bowl then the arguement is over for good.

How do you define elite? He'll never be in the "best ever" discussion, like his brother or Tom Brady already are. Even with Peyton hurt this season, he is at best the 4th best in the league (Brady, Brees and Rodgers being ahead, though not necessarily in that order). But that still makes him better than the vast majority of starters in the league today.

Well he didn't have to really do much in overtime to get the Giants victory. But the offensive line was clearly horrible, and despite that, Eli didn't make that one crucial mistake and never fumbled. Guy's a winner. Maybe not elite (yet) but a winner.
