Why can't I post comments on Yahoo articles?
I write my comment, and hit the 'Post As' button, and the login screen comes up. It says I must log in, which I know is required, so I do. Then I hit the 'Post As' button, and the login screen comes up again. Then I log in, again. Then I hit the 'Post As' button, and the login screen comes up again. Then I log in, again. You get the point. I've emailed Yahoo support, and their first response was "We need a little more information so that we can provide you with better assistance. If you could please respond with answers to the items below, we'd really appreciate it." They listed 3 things, which I described in my first request anyways. But I copied & pasted my answers in a response email. Their second response was to clear my browser's cookies and cache. I did that now as well. I STILL cannot comment or post anything! I give up with their "help", so I'm here. I've not been banned for any reason-I've actually only commented twice before, months ago. So I know it's possible somehow!! It's frustrating to want to put my 'two cents' in, and I can't! Someone please help me!
First, thanks to everyone for suggestions. However, I still cannot post. I am giving up.
@Bam...I guess I was REALLY upset that day because there was something I REALLY wanted to say to someone. But I'm just going to have to let it go, right? I'm chilled now though. Thanks :)
@Ryan...Yahoo is set to be my homepage, and I always sign in (first thing) to check my email before I do anything else. I also tried your suggestion of the "keep me signed in" box (which I hate to do because I'm not the only one using this computer) but it still wouldn't let me. I also checked all my browser settings to ensure it accepts cookies & saves the history. Still no luck, but I appreciate the different suggestions!! That is why I chose your answer as the best one. Thank you!! :)
@Ed..It's been far more than 3 weeks- it's actually been almost almost 6 months! It didn't really bother me in the beginning because I couldn't get online often. But now that I am an

Not trying to be sarcastic, but have you toggle the "KEEP ME SIGNED IN"option? Also I would recommend signing into your yahoo account by going to "YAHOO.COM" this way you can be sure you're signed into your main yahoo account, other than that just make sure your browser is set to accept and save both cookies and history, this way your computer is sure to remember that you've already signed into your account hope this is helpful

AS of 4/24/2014, its worse than ever. Error messages cannot connect right now... no thumbs up or down functionality, posting a comment doesn't work, even the article itself is missing, one clicks on the headline, and it takes you to a comment section for the article, but no article.. GEEZ YAHOO..
Note however, that EVERY ADVERTISEMENT IS CERTAINLY SURE TO LOAD EVEN IF THE CONTENT OF THE FKN PAGE DOESNT...
I hate yahoo.... It has sold out its usability...

This is the 3rd week of problems with Comments. We know that Yahoo is making some changes but they haven't told us what they are. Some users get an endless "loading" sign when they try to make a comment. Many have asked if they did something wrong and have been banned from commenting. They have not been banned. You have to wait until Yahoo fixes this.

I am signed into you tube and I watch the video, and when I go to leave a comment, I click on it and it says opening and will not let me leave one. It does nothing. It has a broken line box all the way around it. This has been going on for 3 days now, and I have no idea what is going on. Can you please help me figure this out?

Sign out of all yahoo sights, including yahoo messenger, and then clear your cookies and cache files (IE Tools, internet options, delete, delete). Make sure you uncheck any boxes that say "Preserve websites and favorites data". After that sign in again and see if you can now post. It worked for me, and I have IE10.

Is this actually a comment box? I any case, I have eaten durian in Davao City, Philippines which is one of several raw fruits served BEFORE the meal you may have ordered. I smelled nothing and it tasted like warm ice cream to me; delicious!!!

Just add the following tag to any Yahoo! page that ends with .html
?np=1
Once you refresh that page (F5) you'll be able to see the COMMENTS section on any article.
You're welcome...
