    forgive her for what?

has she contacted you and asked to be forgiven? is she sorry?

EVERYONE deserves to be given a second chance. BUT i would never forgive someone who didn't apologise and ask to sort things out.

Holy clucking shift ... I couldn't go without 2 days without talking to my mother, never mind 20 years. Whatever she did, I'm sure it's not that bad enough to ignore her for that ling. She won't be around forever , so you might as well make the best of her presence rather than regretting ignoring her when she will be long gone.

Just forgive her and say I'm sorry. I think she will forgive you if you say sorry first.

What ever she has done she is still your mother please find it in your heart to forgive her.One day she wont be there then it will be to late. My mother died 5 years ago & I can tell you I miss her every day of my life she was not only my mother but a friend as well.

Whatever she might have done she is still your mother. 20 years is a very long time.I'm sure she loves you and longs to hear from you. Give her a chance. To err is human, to forgive is divine.

It really depends what she did. Its always worth forgiving her in your heart for being just a human that has faults, for your own sake, but wether you should extend that to actualy speaking to her again REALLY depends on what she did.

You don't explain what for, but yes, you should forgive your mother, even if you don't get in touch with her (if she really did you wrong). It is healthier for you to forgive her in your mind for your own peace of mind.

Are you sure that she's the one who is guilty?
