my neighbors up stairs that moved in about 3 months ago play there music so loud it shakes my stuff down stairs ,have company in and out at all hours of the night , fight and stomp throw stuff and yell constantly ,there very rude to myself and the landlord ,this is a pet free smoke free building they smoke and have 2 dogs and a bird . i think they sell drugs ive found baggies in the drive way ....so about a week ago my mom called the cops because she sick of coming over here and them stomping around and playing there music so loud you cant even here the tv or just enjoy some quiet .the cops came gave them a warning and said next time there getting a fine . then about 3 days later the landlord had an issue with them and called the cops and has started the eviction process ..so now its like they dont care because there getting evicted anyways . so my questionis ever since this happened theyve been up stairs talking loud enough for me to here and saying horrible things about me ....my pu$$y stink im a whore im fat ugly i suck mad d!ck my panties are gross im a hooker blahblahblaH it keeps going and now because they dont care there still playing there music loud ,stomping ,yelling and today i was out side and she was yelling out her window down to me nasty thing about me .woukd this be concidered harassment what can i do about it ???? ive lived here for over 2 years ..

so i called the cops and ....its not harassment i just have to deal with it till one of us moves ....its not harassment in less they threaten me or do something to me. such bs

If she is directly confronting you, like for instance when you say she yells at you from the window then yes she is harassing you. But if all they're doing is just talking about you in their home loud enough for you to hear than no that's not harassment that's just talking s*&t. I'm surprised the landlord doesn't call the police while they're doing this, if a tenant is being a violent menace I don't believe the landlord has to respect the traditional eviction process. I wouldn't have suggested that you guys call the cops yourselves the way you did, I know that you felt compelled to since you have every right to enjoy your home as they do, but I think you accidentally caused your own problems. I'm sure the horror tenants found out that you guys were the ones that called the cops and that's why they're being particularly nasty to you. You probably should have just taken your complaints to the landlord and let him handle it but can't take it back now. The next time the female starts yelling at you don't say mean words back, just firmly tell her that you will call the police again if her behavior continues. If she continues then make good on your threat and call the police. Eventually the police will just remove them if they keep acting like that.

100% Harassment, is the property rented?
If it is, then you can also complain to the landlord as well as the police, because of the breach of tenancy agreement (re the harassment / disturbance of other tenants)
