Why are people protecting Kyle Williams and Billy Cundiff?
Neither of these guys are admitting their part of the blame. And people keep babying them. They're grown men who get paid millions, they deserve all the insults

It's not about protecting these 2 players. It's a team game....we as fans forget that although they're pros at what they do...they are not perfect & learn from their mistakes.....people need to realize that they're human beings too & they function like we do...if you don't make mistakes how else do you explain youself to people you let down in any day of your life & learn from it....I bet everyone in here has made mistakes in their lives & to get angry at these two players is not even necessary....look at yourself first in the mirror & reflect on your past mistakes & you will see how these 2 players really feel & will have to learn from it... I'm a huge Niners fan & are very proud of what they've done this year...it's only going to get better.....so let's enjoy the upcoming Pro Bowl & Super Bowl.....God bless them & everyone in here.

Billy Cundiff did own up to it: http://www.nfl.com/videos/auto/09000d5d82638c81/Cu...
But either way, the teams could have done more to prevent the missed FG and punt fumbles. The Ravens didn't do a fantastic job on D like they needed to and the Niners offense was pathetic. It's a team sport, therefore you lose as a team and you win as a team. All 53 players on both teams recieve all the blame.

Cundiff is a longtime player, he should have been able to make that chip shot. But I genuinely feel bad for Williams...He's a good returner. Did you see that long return he did after the first fumble? The kid has skills.

Im not protecting them butr im also not protecting these "kids" who are making death threats on twitter TWITTER. How much of a baby do you have to be to actually threat someone especially someone's life. Grow up be a man. Its a game not life or death. Sometimes people get carried away and this is not except able.

Yes, the insults maybe, but death threats? Get real. It's a ******* game. If it's a gambling issue, all I can say is that if you were stupid enough to bet more than you can afford to lose on these games, that's your own fault.

I had to walk 3 miles to calm down after the missed fg. Maybe they should quit football and move to Antartica. It will be a long time before anyone forgets.
