I was walking through the woods when...?

I came across this bridge and it was missing it's troll.. Where did the troll go and what do you think I should do? (lol, this is just a fun question)

    I would call your local government mythical creature regulation center. I say file a complaint. You as an American citizen have a right to trolls on your bridges! Also, for the time being maybe get an elf to take up the job until the government can fix this horrid catastrophe.
