Which is the better choice- 2010 Zen estilo for 2.9L or 2006 Swift Lxi for 2.6L?
Hi, my friend ( Kerala, India)asked me this question to me. I am sharing it with you all to get a better insight. He is planning to buy a used car and he went to few car dealer in Cochin. He shortlisted these two.
-One is a 2010 model Zen Estilo full option( 15000Km) for 2.9 Lac.
-The other is a 2006 model Swift Lxi(17000 ) for 2.6 Lac.
All i know is that Estilo does not have a good market value in second car market. But is it worth for a go? Or Should he go with the Swift even though its a base version. If so, what should he give for it?

It depends on many factors.First of all the condition of the vehicle.then usage of the buyer.If the buyer wants the car to be driven in city conditions, need a good fuel efficiency and is considering the comfort part( automatic power windows ,keylessentry) etc he can go for Estilo.But if he need it for highway cruising and is an enthusiastic driver who needs power and more space for comfortably sitting 5 people he should go for swift.But the swift seems to have driven less kms and i doubt if they had done something with odometer reading or it will be 117000kms(17000 kms after completing 100000kms).So be sure to test drive both.

The Zen estilo is not bad car either, the K series engine is quite powerful, peppy and fuel efficient. I am assuming its a fully loaded one so its a good deal too but dead on resale. On the other hand its swift and I am little apprehensive, whether the car has really clocked 17K kms or if the odo has been tampered, but again its depends on the physical condition, the history of the car. Swift does offer more space and more power and will also offer a better resale than the Estilo. I would suggest that you pick the Swift and add up accessories that would be worth. Take a good mechanic along with you to inspect the vehicle and check the complete history of the car. Go for Swift its a good deal.

Swift can be the best choice as Maruti provides better maintainance for used cars and moreover it has more space...GO FOR SWIFT
