CanoScan 4400F dirty glass?
Hi, does anyone know how to take the scanner apart so that I can clean the inside of the glass. There appear to be no screws (hidden or otherwise) but I guess it must be possible without damaging the case?

just because you cant find the screws does not mean they are not there! There are often sneaky screws under the leading edges and sometimes in the recesses where the top cover slots in so have a good look, you may need to turn it upside down to find them. Look for small circular or square plastic covers, these are often used to hide the screws.
The glass should not look clean anyway, it will be slightly hazy or foggy and this is the anti glare coating on the underside of the "glass" - which in many models is actually plastic. SO when it comes to cleaning you need a soft cloth and plain water, no alcohol based cleaners or Window glass cleaners as these may damage the plastic
