Oh itll be loud, i had one 12" square kicker and a 400 watt amp in an old cutlass supreme and it would shake the rearview mirror until it pointed at the floor. three 15's and a 1700 amp will be very loud and should be a good sounding system at lower volume levels. kickers sound pretty good even if you dont run them hard.

What's loud to one person is nothing to the next. You may be satisfied with it for a while if you've never had something that compares. Prefab boxes are going to be the biggest downfall of the whole thing. They're usually built too small, tuned too high and have minimal port area. The enclosure will make or break a sub stage. It's only $30 for a sheet of MDF from Lowes or Home Depot. Couple bucks for screws and glue. Do some more shopping around on the net. Check with other brands.

What do I think? I think that is retarded-loud (not in a good way). And I agree, unless you make your own box (or spend big $$ to have a custom one built), you're gonna waste a lot of cab space trying to make all that crap fit. Not to mention all the other speakers/alternators/caps/batteries/etc you'd have to consider just to power it and even out the sound. Three 15's is excessive even for a suburban. Stick with 2 10"s, at most 12".

one word overkill.and will sound like trash if your mid's and highs are cut right out.and you best be thinking about an alternator upgrade.look into this on youtube.com/big 3 upgrade plus a higher output alternator like double the amperage of the stock one.and even a extra battery or 2.its just not worth the headache 1 15 inch sub woofer is plenty with the right class d amplifier.good luck with your system.

We'll be waiting on the next question you'll have which probably would be how to wire them correctly to the ohm you're looking for.
