Florida has a close-in-age exemption, also known as a "Romeo and Juliet law", to the legal age of consent. This provision allows partners who are close in age, or both under the Florida age of consent, to engage in consensual sex without fear of prosecution under Florida age of consent regulations.

Close in age exemptions to the Florida age of consent permit a person 23 years of age or younger to engage in legal sexual activity with a minor aged 16 or 17

They can do nothing about it and if you are having sex with him it is legal and all they have to do is call the prosecutor to get told that

The police will not take any action on their complaint because there is no laws being broken

It IS legal for you to date and be together. However, since you are 17 and still under the custody and care of your parents, they DO have a right to do whatever is necessary to keep him away from you. This includes getting a restraining order if things go that far. You really should ask yourself WHY your parents don't like him. I'm sure there is a reason. Once you move out and can take care of yourself, or he can take care of you, you can do whatever you want.

Even though you are not yet the legal age of consent in YOUR state (which is 18), your state has a law which says that as long as you are a within a few years of each other, it's okay. Even if he was 23, you could still be with him. However, if he was 24 or older, it would be illegal.

So yes, you're fine. Your parents can't do a thing.

I'm pretty sure dating someone isn't illegal. It's not like the police put dating in their records. Marriage is a different story. If you parents call the cops on you over you dating a nineteen year old, it is a little big ridiculous.

criminal bud is purely hemp, which Im beneficial you comprehend is purely marijuana with an particularly low thc content, meaning that smoking it is going to do not something because of the fact there is not any thc, it is the lively element that makes human beings intense. beneficial it seems purely like it, yet its thoroughly ineffective. I dont comprehend what you mean via criminal bud, because of the fact there is not any bud it is criminal interior the U. S., federal regulation says its unlawful. What i presumed you meant grow to be bud which you spot in magazines like intense cases, it is hemp, not different vegetation not grass, not lettuce. that is ineffective while you're attempting to get intense, yet could be used industrially for many stuff. And for the lady that went on approximately how its a conspiracy, that is, yet that wasnt the question.

Well, looking it up the age of consent in Florida seems to be 18. So I'd say yes, they can do that.

It's only illegal if you have sex. Then it's statutory rape due to the 3 year difference. Just don't screw.
