Is there a scripture in the bible that says something about "just because it is not written does not mean?

it is not so."?

Update:

To Bible Chooser-Jim:

If you are a bible scholar and a Christian, you should know that the remark you made about having no common sense was not what Jesus would have had you write. Was a bit rude and insulting. I am a Christian and study the bible. But I also deal with a Catholic friend that told me this was somewhere in the bible. I wanted to know if it was masked in some sort of other writing, or if they found it in the Apocrypha. She said just because it isn't written doesn't mean that ..... and then proceeds to go on with a multitude of Catholic made fallacies. So.......thank you for your response. I think I will bring this query to my pastor of 21 years where I should have gone in the first place. May God bless you and keep teaching you how to love and be kind.

    No. Common sense should be enough to teach you that.

    However, there is at least one verse in the Bible that teaches that not all things related to Jesus' life and miracles were recorded.

    I know the bible supports crossing out verses that are extremely negative, but I'm not sure adding verses is allowed.

    Source(s): Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

    Excellent point but try getting it across to you know who.
