Do American kids in school today know what is in the American constitution and what it means to America?

It's sad that a lot of kids today are ignorant of their constitutional rights. I've read some interesting article that not even half of 3000 students who took an exams on constitution and bill of rights passed the exams. As a parent, it's essential to me that my kids knows their heritage and I teach them their constitutional rights in ways that their early age can grasp.

I recently graduated from high school in texas and i can say that certainly here it is taught every year in whatever history type class you are taking. Now of course some students dont pay attention to class so these students may not know. But from what i remember of earlier schooling it was drilled into my head every year since at least 3rd grade. Kids just tend to rebel against authority, so even if they know LOGICALLY how much freedom they are given, they still feel the need to rebel and try to get more for themselves. Its human nature. They havent yet matured enough to use logic AND emotion together to realize when to be thankful instead of critical.

you have a good component. im no longer lots for noticing issues on the subject of the media and each thing, the form does strike a chord, yet i actually cant keep in mind any of it. the reason have been entering into this form of incorrect direction is by the fact with all the recent issues popping out, new electronics. all human beings thinks that its all on the subject of the money by using fact of what it would purchase you. as for the government, i dont be conscious of sufficient approximately it. a concept i merely had. why might the government choose clever human beings?? why no longer dumb human beings? easyer to fulfill. in case you had clever human beings for the folk, then they might protest alot extra attempting to get all there rights, attempting to get each and every thing they deserve in there rights. like i reported, i dont be conscious of lots on the subject of the government, yet i actually do wish i helped.

They know light parts of the constitution but don't fully understand it. Blame our failing education system.
