If your wireless home network is secured, which it should be, then you will need the security passkey for your network. It is best to connect the laptop to the router with a cable first for the setup and then you just need to add a device to existing network. It will ask you to enter the passkey and then complete the setup. Hope this helps.

when a router is connected to your house, there is a pin number that they give u and that is your security number. do u have have any other laptops that work in your house if not, then call your provider and ask them for the secuity code, it is usually a sticker on the router

Ask whoever set up your home wi-fi what the password is. If that doesn't help you then you need to give us more info: make and model of computer, OS, make and model of router and internet provider.

Possibly. The Protocol and exchange systems used would be so complicated that it really wouldn't be worth the effort.
