Help on president project?

I am doing a project with a few of my classmates and we are supposed to make up a Republican President that would win election. We are supposed to answer the question, “The nation is facing unprecendented levels of debt. By all acounts this debt will reach $18 trillion by 2016. Virtually all politicians say they want to cat federal spending, but as president, specifically what and how much would you be willing to cut?” We started off with talking about how we needed to cut spending in social programs, but we got stuck after that. Can anyone help?

It is plain and simple. You must cut spending in EVERYTHING EXCEPT the military. Ronald Reagan cut spending on everything yet increased it on military spending and it fixed our country. I'm not saying INCREASE military spending just don't cut it.
