Advice on how to keep job?
I have been working at my local butcher for about a week and a half now. It's called the meat house and they have very high expectations for their employees. All my managers except one love me and tell me I'm doing a great job. Today my boss took me aside and told me if I don't step up my progress within 3 days I'll be fired. He said I'm not that bad but one of the trainers says I'm behind. What can I possibly do besides work harder? I need to keep this job, I have one or two days to prove myself at work especially tomorrow. The problem is they want me to have more energy with the customers... I provide them with an enjoyable experience just I'm not incredibly perky, I'm more laid back. Please help

The question is of your personality. Try to improve your personality. Also showmanship sells. You should show more to convince them that you are inevitable to them. Always keep a cheerful countenance and a smile ready for everyone you meet. Try to improve your energy. Don't confine only doing to your work. After finishing your work, also help others to complete their tasks. Work hard and rewards will come in search of you. Always be courteous to everybody. Try to find out if there is any chance for progress in the business and make appropriate and humble suggestions to your superiors without offending them to increase the profitability and productivity in the organisation. Reach early to work and leave after the office hours. Always keeping in mind that boss is always right. Also customer is also right. You should have extreme diplomacy to impress your superiors and get respect from your colleagues and juniors. All these things will make you a good worker and a successful employee in any job.

why don't you just find ANOTHER job that you'll like, while still working in the fast food resturaunt? therefore, if you don't get the dream job, then you can just continue on your fast food restaurant. if you want to find another job, it would help if it has equally or even higher salary so your parents won't be disappointed if you really get your new job. just a thought *shrugg* (:

Try practicing with your friends. Be lively and think your helping someone out. Just remember it's your job at stake so try your hardest to do exactly as your boss tells you.
