At the age of 42, am I too old to become a bee keeper?

Not just a little bit, not in a small measure - but ever such a lot, I want more than anything to produce honey on an industrial scale.

What's more, I want to produce the finest honey made from all manner of wild flowers which will be set upon the tables of kings, queens, the Prime Minister, politicians, the rich and famous, intellects and other types such as Tony Abbott.

What are my chances?

My friend that's like me asking if i am old enough to be helping people out with there answers on the internet (I'm only 21)

I reckon if you have a passion or you can visualize yourself doing something that will make you happy, especially something productive like bee keeping/ honey making. Then there is absolutely no reason you cannot. and if you don't take the first opportunity you get to keep bees, you will always imagine what it would of been like if you had. And i don't know about you. but i hate thinking "what if"

    MAKE IT HAPPEN MAN.

I had a friend in high school who when asked what he wanted to do when he was older, always said. "i want to be a cheese maker" he got ridiculed by everyone, even his parents. Today he is managing one of the biggest bio dynamic dairy farms in the country doing exactly what he said. Within the provisions of the law. there is no too old or too young.

    Good luck with your bees:)

I hope this was your best answer.
