Problem with Android videos..?

I took a video on my phone then used the Youtube app to upload it, but it said file format not supported.

Apparently Android records in .3gp but Youtube doesn't accept that, so is there a way to convert the video to .avi or .wmv or something?

    youtube deff does support 3gp videos see if there is an upgrade for your youtube app or something because i no for a fact you can upload using 3gp your only other choice is to put the file on your computer and upload it but you can convert video format on your phone
