02 GMC sierra fuel pump?
I have an 02 gmc sierra, yesterday it stop at a stop sign & would not crank, I changed the fuel filter but no help, fuel does come from the tank when truck is switch on even though you can not hear the fuel pump engage, can the pump work but not have enough pressure to run the truck, I have checked all fuses & relays

the pump pressure should be around 60 psi under that the truck wont start. i put small amount of gas in carb and it will start. check the pressure and see what the requirement is.. you wont hear the pump if the pressure is sattisified at the regulater..

bad fuel relay under hood in black box pull out fuel relay replace kit start truck

yes they can but this would be a rare condition ushally they seize up check fuel pressure against fuel pressure specification
