Is this a lucid dream?

Yesterday before going to sleep I read a lot about lucid dreams and reality checks and everything. And I remember that in my dream, I had gone to school and I started asking everyone "Am I dreaming?!?!" And my best friend said yes and then some of my other friends said yes too and then when I asked more people they started saying No.. And I don't remember anything else..So, was that even a half lucid dream? Or was it a false awakening?

Another time a while ago, (this dream I remember vividly for some reason) I dreamt that I had taken a nap in the afternoon and ended up waking up at night like 11 or 12 and my dad was watching tv in the front room, so I go over to him and for some reason I cant see him, but I can hear him and then I go back to my room and try to turn on the lights and they dont turn on and so I tell my dad and go to my sisters room and try to turn on hers and those dont turn on either. And then I start freaking out and realize that I'm still asleep. So, I try really hard to open my eyes, but cant and I start freaking out and am finally able to open them, but I realize I'm still not awake and I try soo hard to open my eyes cause Im unable to move my legs or anything and Im still not able to, but eventually I really do open my eyes.

So was ^ a false awakening? or lucid dream? or just a normal dream?

THANKS!!!! Wish me luck!

A lucid dream is where you're dreaming but you KNOW you're dreaming, therefore letting you do whatever you want in your dream. It that's what happened to you, then yes, you were lucid dreaming.

A lucid dream is when you're awake yet your body registers you as sleeping. You're basically in sleep paralysis. It's a way for people who have reoccurring nightmares to control them and change them around so you can get rid of them. In your second part, that was sleep paralysis, but the dream that was with it was just a normal dream.

exciting way of describing it. If we circulate a strategies far flung from the tense recurring and the crowds of critiques, viewing all of it from the area, confident, we ought to verify it as a lucid dream interior yet another lucid dream. inspite of each and every little thing, in a international the place the guidelines of logic are questionable, how do all of us understand if what we see, touch or hear is somewhat there? How can we define logic or actuality? interior the absence of those 2 bases of the international, we could wisely anticipate that existence is in basic terms a remember of concept. human beings are creatures that stay in accordance to the guidelines of their own instincts of concept. we are able to preserving lucidity and power of comprehension, hence we are nevertheless conscious - hence the LUCID dream. however the limitations of actuality are questionable - hence the dream. If each and every action is in keeping with own instincts and private concerns of concept, then one act after the different potential one lucid dream interior yet another lucid dream. inspite of each and every little thing, we are all aims interior the dream of a dreamer who's been asleep with the aid of fact the beginning up of time. we are each and every of the lucid products of a dreamer who sleeps on the gate of time. whilst he/she obtains dream lucidity, his/her awareness would be awoken, and whilst looking interior his/her own aims, we would be unavoidably confronted with our own mirrored image. And we will awaken. The dream will end and we will proceed to be interior the organic style of lucidity. :)
