What did Vatican II do good for the mankind?

As far as I know, the Roman Catholic Church had a problem that they were not good for mankind when they became the official Church of a worldly government. That was back in the 4th century under Constantine. Any church that marries itself with the world is a false church. So Vatican 2 was late in the game. From what I've read about ecumenical councils, and other councils including those in the New Testament, God isn't favorable towards whatever it is they decide.

As far as a church existing in order to fulfill an objective purpose "for the good of mankind", that is humanism. That's not Christianity.

A lot of meaningless tinkering that just alienated older Catholics but did not result in any outburst of enthusiasm among younger ones. Kumbaya.
