i`m retired now but i used to change the oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter, do a complete brake strip and over haul, check for wear and Terr on all joints wheel bearings and steering check suspension and grease and oil up where necessary, check tyres for tread depth and pressure, top up washer bottle and coolant, check all fluids, finely make a report for the owner of any work needed in the future.

there will be variations on details for different cars etc . all specified items for servicing will be in owners manual ( service booklet)
eg manual cars will need slightly different items to an automatic and so on.
essentially it will also cover year or mileage so a major service at say 2 Years will not be as extensive as the major service at 3 years even though they may? claim to be a full service.
eg timing or serpentine belt check at 2 years and CHANGED at 3 years.
far too many points to write down here ( oil ,water, tyres, fault codes, glass.seat belts, , electrics, etc)

Depends who is doing it. If it is the dealer it will be according to the car's servicing schedule, if not it could be different. Just ask the garage in question what is covered.

examine the handbook on the vehicle and notice what servicing is oftentimes is accomplished on the mileage you're at the instant at. in case you haven't any longer have been given a handbook, you may seem on line for the counsel, i'm effective. Labour costs hourly based on the going cost on your section.

Depends. Define "Full service"
Ask the garage what they're going to do, but it depends on how much you're paying. £100 will get you an oil change and a quick check over of some of the major components, but very little actual 'work'.
What I'd call a "full" service would include changing the oil, air filter, plugs, pollen filter, stripdown and clean of brakes including replacement if necessary, maybe a coolant change, brake fluid change and more.

Well by the book there are regular service intervals Every part has a designated mileage at which they "should" be replaced.
