What kind of tattoos do you have on your forearm? You have a pic? I could help better when i see it.
Do you like Egyptian style art? From your description I think Egyptian art would look cool tied into the Rome idea. But not sure what your tattoo looks like and if it would clash with it, but honestly i think it would tie into the "Ancient" theme you've got going on. Roman and biblical tattoos also would look decent. I'm not much a religion person though.
