An awful lot of music and literature would never have been written.

Be that as it may the moon and the collision that formed it are responsible for virtually everything that the earth is as a habitat for life. The tilt of our axis likely imparted by the collision with the object that ejected the material that became the moon is the reason we have seasons and the kind of weather patterns we have. It may also be the reason we have a floating crust and plate tectonics that has the continents moving around in continuing cycles of uplift, erosion and rebuilding. And it is definitely the reason we have such strong tides that insure a daily cycle of wet and dry coastal land. All of these things are what enabled life to get a hold and emerge from the oceans onto land.

If we had no moon we would have no tides, the moon creates tides one which is on the side of the earth facing the moon and one to the opposite of the moon, the movement of tides creates a special environment on earth a lot of life forms evolved based on the tides.

With no moon the earths axis would wobble even more so the seasons on earth would not be the same, most of all there would be no life if we had no moon and you would not be here to ask that question.

no tides, dark nights, no fake moon landing, very interesting question.. Moon has a huge affect on earth. Some people say life on earth is imposible without the but its just a theory... ;-)

We would not be here with out a moon. The moon is what causes gravity, the moon is what causes ocean tides....no moon means no us

Then there wouldn't be any "We". Without the moon to stabilize the earth's rotation, the climate never would have been stable enough for complex life to form.

we would have no tides ... for one thing they may be there do to the sun only but much smaller than the lunar tides..

other than that we wouldnt see much difference I think
