Is Rocksmith worth buying?

I own rocksmith for ps3 and I would say that it depends. I don't think it is really worth it if you are an advanced guitar player, unless you''re looking to learn some additional songs. BUT I would strongly recommend it for beginners. It starts you off very slowly, and it's not as frustrating as you think it would be. It won't teach you to be an amazing musician (does not teach theory, etc), but it will get your foot in the door and you will feel more comfortable playing a guitar. The amp mode is a cool feature also and gives you a huge amount of digitial tones and pedals to play, that alone is worth at least half of the 80 bucks.

I wouldn't get the Epi that comes in the $200 pack though. Go to a pawn shop or garage sale and get yourself a real guitar.
