Did I miss it or has Greater Western Sydney not named a captain yet?
I looked on their website on afl.com.au and didn't see a captain yet listed. A list with jumper numbers is on wikipedia, but no captain indicated. As you all are aware, not much footy news (zero) here in the USA, only what I see on line (Age, Herald Sun websites, AFL website or YA footy). Maybe Sheedy hasn't named a captain or I just missed it. Thanks to all you all. We are Geelong. I will not predict a repeat premiership, that is silly, but I want GFC to win every week.
I see now from an Age story on line by Caroline Wilson that co-captains may be used, Callum Ward and Luke Power. So maybe my question is dated and already answered.

Luke Power was in line for the job. one of the sweeteners in the deal for him to leave the Lions.
Although it would seem that you have already found this out.

There is no confirmation that I've heard or found. Nor a confirmation on their club song. Or, with lesser importance, their mascot :) ! They're leaving it all a bit late!!
btw its not that farfetched to predict a repeat!! a lot less farfetched than predicting the 2011 premiership at the start of '11!! good luck

nope still hasnt been named but callan ward is strongly backed by Mark Williams to captain but co captains is most likely at this stage
