Im thinking of taking my ged classes?
I failed the 3rd grade( death in my left ear and i cant hold information) and now i failed lit/comp in 9th grade. Im currently a freshmore( freshmen and sophmore). Now, i failed math 2 last semester with a 68. The school required me to take apex. I took it and i didnt finish it because i had to worry about usa test prep assignments, hwrk, projects, tests and quizes. My mom didnt want me to take it and now shes mad at me because i didnt finish apex. Also, she wont pay for summer school so now i might repeat the 10th grade making me behind a 2nd year. Im thinking of taking my ged classes in the summer. Im currently a musician and that the only thing im focused on. Should i take my ged classes?

Because you're behind in math and in English, there's a chance you wouldn't pass the GED. What I'd have you do is get a GED prep book from the library and go through it. See how close you think you are to being able to pass those exams. If you feel you're close, then the GED classes would work for you. If you know you aren't close, stay in school for another year, get as caught up on math and English as you can, and *then* take the GED prep classes.
You also need to find out what the legal age to drop out is in your state, and what age you need to be in your state to take the GED exam. If you're too young, you need to wait.
