I see more and more, in my line of work, that the new breed of cops are little more than Jack-Booted Thugs. They over-step their bounds more frequently than they used to, use more excessive force, than necessary, in a lot of cases, and are generally unapproachable. The primary train of thought for them is that as long as THEY get home to their families, then it's ok, the public be damned. I also have seen a rise to stupid arrests for trivial things, that in my honest opinion, could be handled with a summons or ticket.

I have gotten to the point that I don't trust the cops any more than I do the criminals.

I would love to see the other side of the story. There are always two sides to every story.

They were arrested for running a stop sign. Which is stupid in itself.
