Make-up tips for fair, cool complexion and blonde hair.?

Ladies, Im hoping that you will be able to share your expierences with me. I have a fair and cool/pinky complexion and cool dark blonde hair.

I am really keen to start experimenting with lip and eye colours, but dont know where to start.

Going to make-up counters doesnt help as the ladies who work there just want to sell me everything they have without a consideration of what really suits me.

I have tried a few samples (lip-tints, eyeliner etc) but because of my pale complexion the colours look super bright on me and I feel like a clown.

What would be the best colours, textures to experiment with. Would make-up with cool undertones suit me or make me look even paler or would warm undertones work better or just look unnatural?

Please let me know from your own personal experiences.

I have blonde hair and blue eyes and everyone says my eyes pop(:

I have side swept bangs, and long curly hair.. I straight my hair every day though.

For my makeup I wear black eyeliner, copper eye shadow, and black mascara.. I have LONG eyelashes, btw(:

Go to my facebook and look at my ''Profile'' Pics and you will see..

Also, I do go tanning a lot and it really helps my hair and eyes stand out.

Hope this helps, add me as a fb friend(:

I understand what you are saying about make-up counters just trying to sell you their products however, if you book a tutorial at a mac make-up counter (which usually costs £25), they will make you up and show you different styles you can create.... and it is great, because once the tutorial is over the £25 is fully redeemable on any of their products so you can create the look yourself....

    anyway...

for the day time look, I would suggest a light tinted moisturiser, of your choice, matching your skin tone... and then a very subtle pale pink powder blush. I use estee lauder signature powder blush, in the colour pink kiss. It is great because you can regulate the colour and intesity and build it up or leave it to just look really natural and subtle - and you won't get that clown look! As for your lips, I would go for a natural / nude lipstick. A little bit of mascara.... and to dress the look up a little on weekends through the day or when you want to make more effort try using a liquid or gel eye liner on your top lid!

AND please, don't be scared to talk to the women / men at the make-up counters...they are there because they love make-up! I work on a make-up counter and genuinely love just making people feel good about themselves! It's all about experimenting and finding the look you like the most!

Source(s): I love make-up design, always experimenting and trying new products / colours....

Im really pale myself and i have dark blonde hair also!

    Foundation...

I use mac/ maybelline foudations - always the palest of 2nd from the palest. Use a foundation brush to spread the colour evenly. I think i look too pale with just foundation so i usually wear a light bronzer or pink shimmery blusher- it really compliments my skintone and the pink looks so nice with my eyes (blue),

Ive found from my own personal experiances; not to make my makeup too dark. For example

    Eyes...

I never wear kohl eyeliner or thick black eyemakeup. I wear a thin line of black liquid eyeliner on my eyelids and a small amount of mascara. Occasionally- I'll wear eyeshadow- I always wear browns, nudes and shimmery pale colours as they suit my skin tone and if you have blue eyes- it makes your eyes pop. Try investing in NAKED eye palette by urban decay.. its amazing!

    Eyebrows...

If you're blonde.. Never make your eyebrows too dark! I do go over my eyebrows with a brown eyeshadow/pencil but only lightly as girls was blonde hair and dark eyebrows look fake and silly. haha. Your eyebrows are a big feature of your face and they are important so make sure you pluck them depending on their shape and if you would like- shade them in.

    Lips...

I have bright red lips and i hate them, i find it doesnt look right with my blonde hair and pale skin so i always wear pale lipsticks. I love snob and myth from mac, and the pale barry m lipsticks.I usually wear pale pinks and nudes on my lips. Sometimes, i wear liptints.. pinks and pale oranges but i prefer lipsticks.

    I hope this helped!x
