I started nausea before my missed period and I have only threw up 3 times. Fingers crossed I won't anymore. today is the best I have felt in three weeks.

If this is a boy his name will be Jeffrey Ray if it's a girl Cassidee McKay.

With our first child we knew if we had a girl we would name her Melanie Ann and we did. My mother said we would change is a million times and it stayed the same the whole time

I actually found out I was pregnant because three days before my period was due a random smell (a cup that had contained drink yogurt I was putting in the dish washer) had me running to the toilet to throw up. Later that day I burst into tears over nothing.

Once I dried my tears I realized this was not just normal PMS, so I took a test. And there it was, that glorious pink line.

From this you might expect things to get worse rapidly, that I would spend the entire first trimester vomiting in between bouts of hysterical crying, but it hasn't been like that. Most days I am fine. Some I am nauseous. Some I am nauseous all day. But I rarely have to throw up, and the only bout of crying was last week when I was just exhausted and having a bad nausea day.

I am now 9 weeks along and have good hopes to get through the last few weeks of the first trimester without having to vomit again. By now I know my worst triggers and how to avoid them.

I started feeling nauseated at 6 weeks. About 10 minutes after I felt nauseated was when I first threw up. Nausea is usually followed by vomitting...not the other way around.

BQ: My boyfriend and I decided when I was 9 weeks pregnant that if we had a girl, her name would be Athena. She's 8 months old and her name is definitely Athena. Never changed our mind.

I never had any nausea or vomiting while pregnant. We decided on our daughters name when we were 8 weeks pregnant. We had names picked for a boy and a girl but we just had a feeling we were having a girl. We kept her first name and changed to a slightly different variation of her middle name.

I never really had any nausea, not every woman does! It is completely different for everyone as far as when they will start to get nausea and how long it will last, if they even get it at all!

BQ: We have the name Braylee picked out, and we have had that picked since we found out she is a girl, back in November. I recently heard the name Braelynn...and I really like it, but I'm not going to change her name now! lol.
