Do i need to shampoo my hair after swimming at the beach?

I'll be going on a holiday soon where I will most likely be swimming at the beach everyday. Do i need to shampoo my hair everyday, or will just rinsing it under water do the trick? I'm a guy by the way, If that makes any difference.

Yes you should shampoo your hair after swimming at the beach. If you do not the salt will dry your hair. If you are going to shampoo every day use a shampoo for chemically treated hair even if your hair is not chemically treated. Shampoo that has been formulated for chemically treated hair has less detergent in it than a shampoo formulated for normal hair.

I have been a licensed, practicing cosmetologist for 36 years +.

    Hope this helps.

LOL you're able to do regardless of you prefer to do yet why no longer wait. Swimming ordinarily is drying to the hair and pores and skin so think of conditioner. There are some super ones for coloration dealt with hair-each and every time you get out of the water throw the conditioner in and use a sturdy go away in conditioner (Fantasia makes a sturdy one yet get a twig bottle for it) when you rinse that out. as quickly as each and every week use a sturdy extensive conditioner like a ldl cholesterol you could prefer 2 boxes with all your hair. i'm hoping THIS helps i'm hoping this helps

You sure do. Your hair is going to absorb all that water and anything floating by that can get caught in it. If you have alot of hair, or if it's particularly long I'd wet my head in the shower before going out anyway so it's already saturated with water it won't take in as much of the salty ocean water.

If your hair's short, it doesn't have to be a big hair wash and you may even be able to forgo a wash but it'll still and ocean 'life' in it and might start smelling or dry your scalp with all that salt. Have fun.

Key: Put a small amount of conditioner before any swimming. Wash after every time that you swim, especially if it's in the ocean. Ocean water is sea creature's urine, death bed, and a trash dump for certain countries.

Yes, most definitely. Think of all the germs in the beach and don't forget all the sand. You can also damage your hair. Lastly you can say you should because of hygiene. Hope i helped :)
