Why would anyone want ot become a Werewolf or Vampire?
I keep seeing questions about mythological creatures being real.
Being a Christian I can honestly say I know enough to NOT doubt the existence of such creatures.
But it's the second part of theses questions that intrigues me. "How can I become one.?"
So my question is why would anyone want to?
You would have to trade supposed power for a life lived in solitude or reclusion , at the very least one of deception trying hide your true identity.

The short answer: People want power. There's always a trade off - a balance - that has to occur to gain such power, but it is possible, and many people crave it in the same way they desire money, love, etc. The question is whether or not the person will be able handle it. This is the difference between it being beneficial or self-destructive.

it's a common problem that people think their problems in life are something that could be solved by being something they are not. While this is generally true they want to change the wrong thing. Adding a curse or supernatural body won't change the original personality or soul so they'll still be dealing with the same types of problems they have now.
