christians can't you see the brainwashing tool being used aganist you?

Christians can't you see the brainwashing tools that are being used aganist you?

(1) no one knows when jesus was born ...(you can't verify his birth)

(2) no one knows when he died or where he is buried...( you can't verify his death)

(3) if you are baptized you are saved and changed, but if you sin all you have to do is repent..(there is no consequences for your sin..big joke!)

(4) you pay thithes to god? (yet god did not create money, man did!...therefore you are giving your money to a con man to live a lavish lifestyle while you go broke)

(5) they tell you that they are building churches on the other side of the world..(how do you know?..do those from the other side build churches here?..if so then they should build in their land and vice versa..they tell you that so you can't track the money!)

(6) they tell you about the gift that people have given them in sake of the ministry..(c'mon,they give them Rolls Royce's,rolex and trips to exotic places..what they don't tell you is that they are buying it themselves with your money)

(7) if salvation was so important, why do it take a backseat to tithes?..(95% of sermons are about money..the word "rich" simply means abundantly supplied..is money the only way to be abundantly supplied?)

(8) gambling is a sin,but if it is what's the difference between it and a church raffle? (you are still gambling..oh i forgot because it's in a church and pastor said it isn't then it's ok!...did you know that the word gamble is not even in the bible)

(9) why do you call judas the devil? (i thought jesus said that if he did not do what he did (then prophecy would not be fulfilled...they have you coming and going)

(10) the name jesus is not found anywhere in the old testament..(they wrote the new testament for the weak and gullible. every word that they could use to make it appear that they were talking about him they used! the vine, living water, tree of life etc.....it is a forgery.they know it and so should you!

(11) no one knows when he's coming back...(therefore they will have a new generation after you believing the same thing you believe and on and on and on..i thought it was supposed to be 2000 years...your pastor must be kin to P.T BARNUM because he knows that their is a sucker born every second!)

i know pastors who are janitors, cooks and security guards and yet they live in huge houses..what gives? a pastor is a member of a church and should be the most humble person there!...(i already know you are going to say "NOT MY PASTOR")

No. No, they can't. But, that is the outcome of brainwashing, is it not?

Who said being poor has anything to do with being humble? Apparently you have not received Gods blessings, and I dont mean money. Psalm 22 predicts Jesus death. If the word gamble is not in the bible then who said it is a sin? Yes, only the father knows when Jesus is coming back, so stop believing the hypocritacal predictions. Judus was only tempted by the devil. He is not the devil. John 13:2. Who said salvation is a back seat to tytheing? Tytheing was an old testiment command that originally had nothing to do with money. In the beginnig, God. . . Gen 1:1. If you dont believe the beginning, you cant believe the ending.

    1) you are right about the date and as a christian I don't celebrate Christmas.

#2)To answer that question, we need to understand two things. First, in Bible times a new day began in the evening, at sunset, and ended the next day at sunset. A day, therefore, ran from evening to evening.—Leviticus 23:32.

Second, the Bible does not use the calendar that we use today. Rather than using months with such names as March and April, the Bible speaks of such months as Adar and Nisan. (Esther 3:7) The Jews counted their months from new moon to new moon. They celebrated the Passover on the 14th day of the first month of their calendar, Nisan. (Leviticus 23:5; Numbers 28:16) That day, Nisan 14, was the same date that the Romans impaled our Lord Jesus Christ. He died 1,545 years after the first Passover meal was celebrated.

#3) Phil. 2:12, RS: “As you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” (This was addressed to “the saints,” or holy ones, at Philippi, as stated in Philippians 1:1. Paul urged them not to be overly confident but to realize that their final salvation was not yet assured.)

Heb. 10:26, 27, RS: “If we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries.” (Thus the Bible does not go along with the idea that no matter what sins a person may commit after he is “saved” he will not lose his salvation. It encourages faithfulness. See also Hebrews 6:4-6, where it is shown that even a person anointed with holy spirit can lose his hope of salvation.)

#4) At no time were first-century Christians commanded to pay tithes. The primary purpose of the tithing arrangement under the Law had been to support Israel’s temple and priesthood; consequently the obligation to pay tithes would cease when that Mosaic Law covenant came to an end as fulfilled, through Christ’s death on the torture stake. (Eph 2:15; Col 2:13, 14) It is true that Levitical priests continued serving at the temple in Jerusalem until it was destroyed in 70 C.E., but Christians from and after 33 C.E. became part of a new spiritual priesthood that was not supported by tithes.—Ro 6:14; Heb 7:12; 1Pe 2:9.

As Christians, they were encouraged to give support to the Christian ministry both by their own ministerial activity and by material contributions. Instead of giving fixed, specified amounts to defray congregational expenses, they were to contribute “according to what a person has,” giving “as he has resolved in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2Co 8:12; 9:7) They were encouraged to follow the principle: “Let the older men who preside in a fine way be reckoned worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard in speaking and teaching. For the scripture says: ‘You must not muzzle a bull when it threshes out the grain’; also: ‘The workman is worthy of his wages.’” (1Ti 5:17, 18) However, the apostle Paul set an example in seeking to avoid bringing an undue financial burden on the congregation.—Ac 18:3; 1Th 2:9.

Same crap questions, with the same crap assertions, and knowing b-- all about anything, as a few days ago I see.

"10) the name jesus is not found anywhere in the old testament.."

You really should get yourself an education. You know, the one about how Hebrew is tranliterated into Greek. Even most of the atheists on here can manage that - which is saying something.

All alcohol and medicines (except for those that advance evidently and are not switched over into yet another form) are undesirable for you, faith and society as an finished. Alcohol is the authentic gateway drug and should be banned even as marijuana should be legalized. Doing so would decrease inebriated using statistics, better 0.5 and little ones abuse, stupidly, gang issues/wars/shootings. human beings on weed communicate faith and politics. human beings on alcohol and different drugs communicate incoherent jibberish.

You are very mis-guided. Not all christians are they same. We are very very diverse. I havent been to church in years! And I don't take the bible very literal. The only reason I call myself a Christian is because i follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. Which are, be kind, humble, caring, loving, and non-judgmental. Thats as far as my "religion" goes. I don't really believe the story of Adam and eve, and I don't really believe in hell.

Maybe you have gotten the wrong idea and are generalizing all Christians together. Anyone could do that. I could say I hate black people because if i use to live in a bad neighborhood. When in reality there are many successful and respectful African Americans in the world.

You are generalizing, and that's where your fault is.

religion and the belief in gods or the supernatural is part of human evolution.

the brains of copper age/bronze age/iron age men were limited in reasoning capacity.

before the great scientist louis pasteur, people believed evil spirits caused disease and death.

his ideas changed the medical world.

it is hard for me to sing the praises of louis pasteur without honorable mention of sir joseph lister.

he was the first micro exterminator.

Get your facts right, there is real scientific evidence that Jesus was a real person who was born and was crucified, I stopped reading after that because of you pigheadedness. I have no issue with your beliefs as I have many friends who are atheists and believe everyone has the right to their own opinion.but I draw the line when people start insulting my faith,

Source(s): I'm a catholic and proud of it
